Subject of Investigation: Twisted Radiating Alleyways

For some reason, the alley leading to the target location cannot be found. We decided to split up and investigate the surrounding area. I have not yet reunited with Investigator 01, but I’ve discovered something noteworthy and will report in their stead.
The place is a T-junction that seems to be the closest point to our intended destination. There are no signs of people—only the faint sound of wind brushing across the stone pavement from time to time.
What caught my attention was the pavement itself. Only at this junction, several stones bear distinct marks clustered together. Among them, three are especially prominent, marked in dark pigment. Interestingly, these three markings match the emblems engraved on the doors of the three surrounding houses.
It seems certain that these symbols are meant to indicate something. I intend to begin analysis immediately.
