Labyrinth of Duposion #1: Puzzles Woven by Strange Illustrations

This post is a Narrative Puzzle and a work of fiction.

Introduction

I first learned about the Dupocion ruins when I was in high school. One day, I happened to pick up a book by Dr. Keith Edwards in the library, and it’s no exaggeration to say that it determined the course of my destiny. The mysteries described within its pages were thrilling and enigmatic, unlike anything I had ever encountered in my everyday life.

More than twenty years have passed since then, and to my astonishment, I now find myself approaching the age Dr. Edwards was at the time. While most of the mysteries surrounding the ruins remain unsolved, a few new discoveries have been made, and I can say there has been some progress.

Thus, following in Dr. Edwards’ footsteps, I have decided to compile the current state of research into a new book. I hope that the allure of this ruins will reach as many people as possible, especially the younger generation.

Why was such a grand mural painted in a room of a building that is not even a palace? Why is this room the only one adorned within the modest structure of bare stone walls? And why does it lack the vibrant frescoes of figures and animals typically found in the palace atop the nearby hill?

The swirling array of peculiarities within this one small room leaves an unmistakable impression of a special purpose lurking beneath the surface.

Hint💡

Focus only on the current triangle and the one next to it. If you observe the side where they meet, you’ll notice…
